Thanks for sharing. It’s been challenging here at camp, settling into new responsibilities, and trying to minister to girls that I am responsible to disciple. Someone shared with me yesterday something very close to what you had shared…it’s not about me, it’s about giving God glory and being faithful to what He’s called me to do. If i see fruit, great, but if I never know how God uses me, that’s fine because He’s in control and it’s about Him and how HE can be glorified.

hmmm, great reminder. I’ve been struggling with a few things, beating myself up over my feelings while in the city, trying to understand why I would have such fear when I’m saved and know where I’m going when I die. It’s a good reminder that I myself have nothing without Christ- I’m poor in spirit..

Yeah. It’s kind of a strange thing but i kind of feel like God was saying “ok. You want to serve Me with your life? Well, this is what that’s gonna be like sometimes.”

Thanks Collin. I have to say that I experienced that same thing my last year of FCWC… sometimes it’s those times of silence that teach us the most. We learn to rely solely on truth.

wow. good challenge! I’m actually on Open Air Evangelism for my spring ministry and I have to admit that I wasn’t super excited about it at first, but how important it really is! God doesn’t have to use us, but He does, what a privilege!
